Ultrasensitive Biomarker Testing Service (SIMOA)

 1,000 Times More Sensitive Than ELISA

=> Quotation request

Single molecule array (Simoa) testing is a powerful new technique that is orders of magnitude more sensitive than standard sandwich based immunoassay techniques. Traditional ELISA measurements are limited to pg/ml levels of detection. The RayBio Ultrasensitive Simoa Testing Services reach femtogram (fg/ml) levels, allowing the detection and quantification of biomarkers at concentrations previously difficult or impossible to measure.

Available Assays

We are currently offering the below ultrasensitive human assays for immediate testing:

Amyloid beta 1-40 GM-CSF IL-12 p70 IL-17A IL-6 MCP-1 (CCL2) TNF alpha
C-Peptide IFN-gamma IL-13 IL-2 IL-7 p24 TRAIL (TNFSF10)
Eotaxin-1 (CCL11) IL-1 beta (IL-1 F2) IL-15 IL-23 IL-8 (CXCL8) PSA Troponin I
GCSF IL-10 IL-16 IL-5 IP-10 (CXCL10) Tau

Don't see the biomarker you're looking for?  The entire immunoassay menu (>1,600 targets covering 12 different species) is available for conversion to the Simoa testing service platform. Simply request the biomarker you are interested in and we will develop the Simoa for it. Please note there is an additional 4-6 week lead time.

How It Works

Simoa is based upon the isolation of individual immunocomplexes on paramagnetic beads using standard ELISA reagents. The main difference between Simoa and conventional immunoassays lies in the ability to trap single molecules in femtoliter-sized wells, allowing for a “digital” readout of each individual bead to determine if it is bound to the target analyte or not.
